BeEpic. BeInspired. BeYou.

One of the first things that came to my mind this morning was a tagline I created in 2012 called “Be Epic, Be Inspired, Be You.” I began to further meditate on this bible verse that’s been on my mind for the past couple of days, which is Genesis 2:7 NIV “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” I love how God takes ordinary people and brings us to deeper levels of understanding in him, so I wanted to share my personal perspective and not just let this be my typical write in my journal what he downloads in me kind of experience. There were three things that stood out to me in this one verse. That is: formed, breath of life, and “became” a living being. When something is formed like a concept, a vision, or an idea, it first needs God’s breath of life breathed into it in order for that concept, vision, or idea to become a living manifestation of something that is spiritually effective. We have to go back to the source of who gave it to us. How does that also tie into my 2012 tagline? To Be Epic means to be set apart. When God formed us, we were set apart because we weren’t made like the animals. We were made in his image and his likeness. We all have unique ideas that can be used for his purpose. Be Inspired- the word inspired has part of the Latin word spiro in it which means to breathe. Be You-means to use your vision, ideas, and concepts God gifted you with and be the best of who he created you to be. Hope I blessed someone today.

Have a great day on purpose!❤
