Happy Soulful Saturday!

“Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

Psalm 103: 1-5 NIV

Came across this scripture Psalm 103: 1-5 NIV and noticed that it gives 5 reasons to praise the Lord. David also said in this passage to forget not all his benefits. This means to me that there is compensation in praising God even when you feel like nothing is happening, or things are going in the opposite direction of your expectations, or you sense something is happening but you still don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Most importantly, it means to me that he’s not a minimum wage kind of God. He provides the supreme salary package, which are all of his benefits. Sharing this inspiration with you all.

The Lord…

1. Forgives
2. Heals
3. Redeems
4. Crowns
5. Satisfies

P.S. I finally finished my first dress yay and whew!!! (lol) I am super excited. For me, this is a big sewing accomplishment. Now, I have to take some pics to show you all, so be on the look out! Details will be in that post.

Have faith, hope, and love on purpose!
